FAQs

  • Our starting price is from £1,550.00 for the 5-piece band (male and female vocals, electric guitar, bass and drums).

    This is based on arrival of 5:00pm and a full curfew of 11:00pm/00:00

  • Our standard package is for 2 X 1hr of live music, that can be split in 3 X 40 minutes if requested. Or we can play for up to 1 hour longer for an extra fee.

  • Yes, we offer standard PA and lighting for the band and can perform with our PA for events up to 180 people.

  • We need a minimum performance space of 3m X5m with 2 X 13 amp safe and secure power socket (standard UK plugs) for us to plug our PA into. If running a generator for our PA system, we kindly request a 10Kw dedicated power supply for the stage area with a minimum of 4 x safe and secure outlet.

  • We require a minimum of 90 minutes to set up and soundcheck from arrival at the venue.

  • To fully secure a booking we require a non-refundable deposit of £200.00 and will issue a booking form to be signed via Adobe Reader. The deposit and signing of the form must be made within 7 days of verbally confirming the booking. Once the deposit and form are received the booking will be 100% confirmed. Any cancellations made by yourself will incur a fee, which will be specified on the booking form signed. Any cancellations made by The Runaways Duo all monies paid will be refunded.

  • We hope that everything can be organised via email and we will offer unlimited help and advice throughout your planning process. If you do require a meeting, site visit or Zoom call that is not a problem and an extra fee will be charged for travel costs and time.

  • We kindly ask clients to provide a hot meal and soft drinks for The Beat Freaks Party Band. Or alternatively we can offer a rider buyout so the duo can source their own food/drink for your event at £15.00 per head. Please provide a suitable changing area for the band where empty the PA cases can also be stored.

  • Yes we do and yes it is, if you need any certificates of proof please let us know and we’ll send them over to you.

  • We suggest that you pick 10 songs that you’d like to hear on the day from our diverse song list, and we’ll tailor the rest of the set around your chosen songs. You can also tell us if there are any songs you would not like to hear on the day.

    We will also learn your first dance/special request for free to perform live, as long as it is sent through at least 2 weeks before the performance date. Any other songs that you’d like us to perform that are not in our repertoire list will be changed as extra for the learning time.

  • Yes we can provide an unmanned Spotify playlist to suit the mood of the event for between and after the live sets until our finishing time or 00:00. If you have a Spotify playlist you’d like to hear on the day please send it through in advance, and we’ll make sure it is played. If you would like the spotify playlists to be manned by one of the band members and for the requests to be taken on the day by yourself and your guests, like a DJ, we can also provide that for a fee of £150.00.

  • If a member of TBF cannot make the performance for a legitimate reason such as illness or an unforeseen circumstance, a deputy “known as a Dep” will be on hand to replace them to make sure the performance can still go ahead. We work with some of the UK’s top musicians and all performances will be held to the highest standard.

  • Yes please, we require at least 2 parking spaces with close access to the performance area. If this cannot happen we are happy to move our car after we have loaded in the PA and gear required for the performance. Any parking costs that occur will be invoiced for after the event and are required to be covered by the client.

  • Yes we can, but we ask to be undercover incase of rain or hot sun to protect our equipment and band members.

  • We travel the UK and internationally depending on visa approval.

  • We can perform at weddings, birthday parties, celebrations, engagement parties, corporate events, meals and either be upbeat and bring everybody to the dancefloor, or provide nice background music for the more intimate events.

  • Yes we can! Our sister band The Runaways Acoustic Duo have played live for many aisle walks, signing of the register, for our married couples leaving their ceremony, and during the drinks reception.   • We can provide you with a wired mic and PA speaker for your speeches if requested beforehand for a fee. We will not be able to offer this on the day as we will need to bring a separate system for you to use.

  • Yes we can. The best thing about TBF is we can come as small as the 5-piece band all the way up to our stunning 9-piece band with an extra female vocalist, keyboard and horns. We can also offer a mix and match deal where you can add just keyboards, or just saxophone to our 5-piece line-up.

  • We would need to know what the venue's restrictions are, but in most cases yes. In some cases we would need to hire an electric drum kit for £250.00 which will be added on top of the total fee. We are happy to sign any paperwork the venue’s may want us to sign to comply with their restrictions as long as we know we can provide you with the best possible version of ourselves on the day.
